How To Make A Bootable CD / DVD Without disc to Disc Copy


This Tool Will help you to Extract the bootble portion of a bootable CD & use these file to make aother bootable Disc Without a CD-CD or DVD-DVD copy. Confused?

Suppose that you have the Entire contents of Windows XP in your Hard Disk And a Bootable XP CD. But the XP CD which is bootable is showing File Missing or not reading at some areas. In such a case you can use Barts Boot Image Extracter & make a bootable image file which will be a few KB in size. Then using "Make Bootable CD" option of Nero & Make a bootable CD.

Let Me Explain Step By Step

1. Download Barts boot image extracter
2. Copy the File To a Location .. Suppose It is D:\
3. Go to Start > Run > Cmd
4. In command prompt window navigate to D:\ ( just type> cd D:\ )
5. The type in> bbie -v X:
6. Here X: is the drive letter of your Cd/DVD drive in which xp cd is inserted
7. then go to d:\ & there you can find a new file named image.bin
8. In Nero Go to Make bootable Disc in Nero Burning ROM
9. Add this bin file to the Image file Section
10. Then Click New
11. Add all essential & not so essential files whatever you need to this
12. Burn

Now you have a CD which is bootable as a normal XP CD & all the files you needed
